William J. Reilly, Jr.

William J. Reilly, Jr., 93, of East Norriton, PA passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Brandywine Senior Suites.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on December 25, 1929, the son of the late William J. and Margaret (Troy) Reilly, Sr. Bill has been living in East Norriton since 2018, formerly of Limerick, Lederach and Norristown. He was born and raised in West Philadelphia, Pa. He grew up going to Our Mother of Sorrows and Our Lady of Lourdes Church. He was also a member of St. Francis Parish in Norristown, Pa, then attended St. Mary's in Schwenksville, St Teresa of Calcutta and most recent a member of St. Paul's RC Church of East Norriton. He Graduated from St. Thomas Moore High School in 1947. He then served in the US Navy. He worked for The Pennsylvania Railroad, Hiram Walker Liquors and retired from the Pennsylvania Liquor Store.

Bill was a PIAA basketball official and went on to become an NCAA Official for 25 years. He was a very active person and loved all sports. He loved reading the Newspaper and doing the daily crossword puzzle.

He was the husband of the late – Phyllis (Hitchens) Reilly. Survivors include, Son William R. (& Denise) Reilly of Telford, Daughter Ellen K. Reilly of Conshohocken, Grandson BJ Reilly, Also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Margaret Treston, Rose Marie Kane, Anne Reilly, Helen O'Kane and Suzanne Harkins

His Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM from St. Paul's RC Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown, PA.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday Evening, October 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA and on Thursday Morning, October 26, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown, PA.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
