Veda K. Carvell

Veda K. ( Helmick ) Carvell, 88, of Conshohocken, PA passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

She was born in Webster Springs, WV on March 1, 1938, the daughter of the late Thomas Roy and the late Rena Bell (Claypool) Helmick.

Veda had been living in Conshohocken, formerly Spring City, Pa and upstate Pennsylvania.

She was the wife of Late - Charles F. Carvell, Jr..

Survivors include Daughter Lila Jane Koniewicz of Conshohocken, Pa also survived by her Grandchildren Kelly (Shawn) Bradley, Jill Koniewicz, and Brooke (Brian) Chmielewski, and Great Grandchildren Harvey, Keira, Veda, Charolette, Stella and Delaney.

Along with her husband and parents she was precceded in death by a Grandson Walter Koniewicz, III, a Great Grand Daughter Brianna and her 3 sisters Dee, June and Shirley.

Her Graveside Service and Interment will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM from Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.

Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to: Dementia Society of America, Post Office Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
