On Thursday, December 29, 2022, Thomas Michael Montemayor ("Poppa T"), dedicated father and devoted husband, passed on at age 70. He was born on August 24, 1952 in Conshohocken, PA and graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.

A hard worker, an avid reader, and a lover of nature, Tom committed his life to ensuring his family was well taken care of. In the summer of 1971, on a trip to the beach, he fell for Susan, the love of his life.

A veteran of the Armed Forces, and a member of the Asbestos Workers Local #14, he not only served his country, but helped build it as well. Tom was very proud of his work and often pointed out buildings he'd worked on all throughout the tri-state area.

While Tom spent most of his time creating a future for his family, he loved weekend trips to his beloved cabin in northern PA. The cabin was a place where Tom felt truly free.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (nee Campbell); his sons, Thomas (Rita), Andrew (Erica), David (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Thomas, Rosalie, Maxwell, and Samuel; and his many cherished siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rita (nee McCarrick); and brother, Scott.

A memorial service will be held at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA on Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.
