Thomas J. "Tommy" Gibbons, age 76, of Norristown, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

He was born in Biloxi, MS on October 23, 1950, the son of John Gibbons and Rita ( Purcell ) Gibbons.

Thomas has been living in Norristown, formerly of Havertown, Pa and he grew up in Plymouth-Meeting, Pa.

He graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and Central Mont CO Technical School and then continued his education at Control Datta.

Tom worked with the Carbonator, Philadelphia Inquirer. and Telefactor.

Tommy loved antiques, working on cars and especially loved reading and writing scripture.

He loved helping others and had a great sense of humor.

What Tommy always wanted people to know was his strong faith, and his devotion to Jesus Christ, and wanted to share it with others.

He is survived by his siblings; sister, Donna (Ken) White of Conshohocken, Pa, brother Kevin (Lisa) Gibbons of King of Prussia, Pa, sister Karen (Joe) Ferrier of Conshohocken, Pa, sister Christina (Mark) Keller of King of Prussia, Pa, Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Gibbons and a sister Paul Gibbons.

In accordance with Tommy's wishes, a private family service will be held at a future date.
