Theresa M. Simonds, age 72, of Jeffersonville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 18, 1952, the daughter of the late Edward and Theresa (Lawlor) Maguire.

Terri was a longtime resident of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia before moving to Jeffersonville, where she has lived for 14 years. She was a parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila RC Church of Audubon, PA.

Terri was the life of the party. Always smiling, dancing, and just wanting to have a great time. She never asked for much and enjoyed the simple things in life. Terri was so artistic and loved expressing her creative side through painting, sewing clothes and costumes, crocheting, and dog grooming. All Terri really wanted was to be a wife and a mother, and she prided herself on making the house a loving home for her husband and daughter. She also loved her work as a bookkeeper for various corporations over the years. Terri also held a special place in her heart for animals, especially the many pets, dogs and birds, that she had. She was so very fond of horses and as a child growing up,she would hang out at the local stables caring them. It warms my heart to know that she has reunited with her furry friends, along with family that she lost while still with us, as she crossed over. Terri, we know you are now without pain and at peace, comforted by our God, drinking all the iced tea and milkshakes, eating all the brownies and cakes, and seeing all the beauty of Heaven with perfect clarity.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Roy H. Simonds; daughter, Lora Simonds (Colin Rossetti and granddog Jewel Gertrude); sister, Dorothy Greenig (the late Alvin); sister, Susan Conway; brother, Edward "Skip" Maguire; brother, Joseph Maguire; sister, Maryann Savage (Mark); and brother in-law, Jack Savage. She was the loving Aunt Tee Tee to many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Remolde, Michael Maguire, and Sharon Savage.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM from St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 1260 S. Trooper Road, Audubon, PA 19403. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday morning from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
