Rita D. Riccardelli, age 99, of Worcester Twp., PA passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022.

She was born in Black Horse, PA on May 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Francesca (Piccirelli) Danella.

Rita had been living in the Meadowood Community for 22 yearsafter living on Whitehall Road in East Norriton for over 50 years. She was a founding parishioner of St. Titus RC Church. She had a long career as a Clerical Office Manager for Continental Bank. Following her retirement, she devoted much of her time to volunteering, including: Norristown State Hospital, Friends of Montgomery-Norristown Library, Homeopathic Study Group of Montgomery County, Suburban General Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary, St. Titus Ladies' Auxiliary, and the American Heart Association and started the Gift Shop at the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown.

She was the wife of the late Anthony Angelo Riccardelli.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (and her husband Steven) Pitoniak of Jessup, PA, two sisters in-law, Sharon Danella and Ann Uphouse as well as several nieces nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Felix, Carmen and Nicholas Danella and sisters Diana Danella and Lucia and Mary Aversano.

The family wishes to express its sincere thanks to the staff at Meadowood Senior Living for taking care of mom over the years.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM from St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA 19403.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church.

Entombment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rita's name to St. Titus Parish or My Brothers Keeper Quilt Group c/o Wheatley Family and Friends, 260 Laurel Lane, Hop Bottom, PA 18824.
