Richard H. Weicheld

Richard H. Weicheld, 95, of Collegeville, PA passed away Monday, December 5, 2022.

He was born in Jersey City, NJ on October 18, 1927, the son of the late August and the late Susanna (Stark) Weicheld.

Richard has lived in Collegeville since 1955, formerly of Philadelphia and Jersey City.

He worked as a skilled cable and lineman with Bell Telephone, where he was a member of the Communication Workers of America.

He served during World War II in the US Army.

He was the husband of Late - Virginia ( Leidich) Weicheld.

Survivors include, Daughter Anne (& Richard) Pennypacker of Spring City, Pa, Daughter Susan Weicheld of Kimberton Hills, Pa, Daughter Sally Sweeney of Audubon, Pa, Son Ted (& Susan) Weicheld of Phoenixville, Pa, Son Max (& Nancy) Weicheld of Snohomish, WA, Brother Arthur Weicheld of Holland, Pa, also survived by his grandchildren Elizabeth (& Nathan) Haring, Ross (& Lisa) Pennypacker, Matthew (& Candice) Pennypacker, Douglas (& Melinda) Sweeney, Paul (& Penny) Sweeney, Julia (& Yue) Tu, Hannah Weicheld, Martin Sweeney, Amelia Weicheld and August Weicheld, also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren

His Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM from Augustus Lutheran Church Cemetery, 717 W. Main St., Trappe, PA.

Friends may call on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the church.

Interment will follow in Augustus Lutheran Church Cemetery.
