Peter W. Smith, age 67, of Sanatoga, PA passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on November 22, 1955, the son of the late Basil A. Iannelli and Doris (Hertzog) Smith.
Peter has been living in Sanatoga for 20 years. He had a 36-year career in Corrections for the Norristown State Hospital. He enjoyed golf and spending time with family and friends.
He honorably served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his brother, John K. Smith of Pottstown, PA; brother, Kenneth Smith of Reading, PA; sister, Regina (Charles) Whitley of Conshohocken, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Warren L. (Gerrie) Smith, Jr.; brother, Burton D. (Linda) Smith Sr.; sister, Anna E. Phillips; sister, Billie Marie Feliciano; brother, Bruce J. Smith; and brother, Patrick M. (Bonnie) Smith.
His Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at funeral home.
Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral expenses payable to Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.
