Peter A. DePallo, age 78, of Gilbertsville, PA passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024.
He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on June 22, 1946, the son of the late Anthony and Mildred (Wise) DePallo.
Raised in Conshohocken, Pete also lived in Norristown, Worcester, and Collegeville before moving to Gilbertsville where he has lived for ten years. He was a parishioner of St. Teresa of Calcutta RC Church.
Pete was the owner and operator of the former DePallo's Maple Grill of Conshohocken before becoming a real estate agent. He then went on to work for a short time in restaurant management, before eventually working and retiring as a skilled General Contractor.
He honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart.
Pete was the devoted husband of 56 years to his wife Pearl A. DePallo (Techman). Along with his wife Pearl, he is survived by his son, Anthony (Jackie) DePallo of Limerick; daughter, Melissa (Fred) Moreno of Collegeville; daughter, Dana (Justin) Piccone of Pottstown; son, Daniel (Angela) DePallo of Barto; four sisters, Arlene DePallo of Orange, VA, Mildred (Robert) Shipman of Florida, Diane (Patrick) McMarr of Alexandria, VA and Carol Joy DePallo of Orange, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Nicholas, Julianna, Jace, Jaedyn, Vincent, and Dominic.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta RC Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.
Entombment will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
In lieu of flowers, Pete's family would appreciate memorial contributions made in his name to: Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots.
