Obituary

Paul Robert Heitman, Jr., age 78, of West Norriton, PA passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at his home.




He was born in Camden, New Jersey on May 1, 1945, the son of the late Paul R. Heitman, Sr. and the late Margaret (Boyle) Heitman.




Paul was raised in Gloucester, NJ and lived in Waterford Works, NJ and Clermont, FL before moving to West Norriton in November 2021. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila RC Church of Audubon, PA.




He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Bronze Star.




Paul worked as a Carpenter and was a member of Local 393. He later worked as a Construction Manager "Imagineer" for Walt Disney World.




He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra E. Heitman (née Sloan) of West Norriton;


daughter, Stephanie Landes of Collegeville, PA;


two sons, Douglas Heitman of Orlando, FL and Ryan (& Natalie) Heitman of Clermont, FL;


son in-law, Nathan Landes of Collegeville, PA;


three brothers, Joseph (& Barbara) Heitman of Barnsboro, NJ, Patrick (& Kathleen) Heitman of Wenonah, NJ, and Michael (& Jane) Heitman of Gloucester, NJ.




Paul is also survived by eight grandchildren, Reese, Brody, Dru, Noah, Austin, Olivia, Finley and Gracelynn, as well as nieces and nephews.




Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 1260 S. Trooper Road, Audubon, PA 19403, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.




Interment will follow on Friday, August 4 at 1:00 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.




In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Mantua VFW Post 7679, 8 New York Ave., Mantua, NJ 08051.
