Patricia Palya
Patricia (Roman) Palya, 90, of Gilbertsville, PA passed away Friday, March 20, 2026.
She was born in Hazelton, Pa on September 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Yonkosky) Roman.
Patricia had been living with her daughter in Gilbertsville for the last year, formerly of Conshohocken and Hazelton, Pa where she was born and raised.
She was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian RC Church and now St. Matthew's Church.
She was a member of the Phillipians at St. Philip Neri Church, She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, traveling and watching Philadelphia sports especially the Phillies and Eagles.
Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family especially at her mountain home.
She worked as a Book Keeper with Century Kitchen and then with Kirshner Brothers Construction Co.
She was the wife of Late - James M. Palya, Sr..
Survivors include, Son James (Susan) Palya of Conshohocken, Daughter LeeAnn (Fred) Kugler of Gilbertsville, Son Joseph Palya of New Foundland, Sister Betty Amentler of Hazelton, Sister Barbara Palermo of Hazelton, also survived by her Grandchildren Mary (Paul) Kate Remus, Annie (Sven) Palya, Kelly Palya, Elizabeth Palya, Kelly (Omar) Rashid, Kimberly Kugler and Meghan Kugler, and her Great Grandchildren Avery, Teagan, Nadia, Evan, Lilly, Morgan and Omar.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the church.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
