Michael A. Kerkering, age 65, of Collegeville, PA passed away on unexpectedly on Thursday, September 24, 2026. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1961 to the late Paul Kerkering and Mary Hirleman (née Bella).

He is survived by his wife, Jayne Kerkering of Collegeville, PA; son, Sean Kerkering; daughter, Caitlin (Jonathan) Barnett; son, Michael Kerkering (Haley Didinger); brother, Joseph (Lori) Kerkering; and granddaughter, Carmen Barnett.

Mike attended St. Joseph's University and completed his MBA. For the past 19 years, he worked as a financial consultant at Finit Solutions where he was fortunate to have many good friends. He was deeply loved by his community, which includes lifelong friends, neighbors and extended family.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 11:30 AM at St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church prior to Mass.

Interment will be private at a later date.In lieu of flowers, Mike's family would appreciate memorial contributions made in his name to Autism Speaks.
