Maryann M. Griest

Maryann M. (Harrington) Griest, 77, of Spring City, PA passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

She was born in Norristown, Pa on November 28, 1945, the daughter of the late Harry B. and the late Mary A. (Gibbons) Harrington.

Maryann has lived in Trappe for over 40 years, formerly of Conshohocken where she grew up.

She was a homemaker and also worked as a bartender and bookkeeper with the Next Door Restaurant of Limerick, Pa.

She was the wife of Late - Leo Griest.

Survivors include, Daughter Lori Velazquez of Spring City, Pa, Son William Paul Hoffman (Shawn) of Birdsboro, Pa, Sister Frances Dix (Bob) of New Jersey, Brother Joseph Harrington (Dawn) of Florida, Brother Bernard Harrington (Sue) of Kentucky, Sister Teresa Sagwitz of Delaware, also survived by her Grandchildren Shan Lias, Caitlin Carfagno (Anthony), Joshua Moore, Jocelyn Moore, Marah Hoffman, Sebastian Velazquez and Aleah Hoffman, and Great Grandchildren Kaiden, Olive, Jude, August, and Luna.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Ross Charles Hoffman, IV, a daughter Amy Moore and a sister Regina Tinneny.

Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street , Trappe, PA 19426.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the funeral home.

Internment will be private.
