Mary K.
Loughin
Jun 22, 1939 — Feb 13, 2026
With loving hearts, we announce the passing of Mary K. Loughin who left this world peacefully on February 13, 2026, at the age of 86.
She was born in Darby, PA on June 22, 1939, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Heffron) White.
Mary was raised in Upper Darby and later lived in Bryn Mawr before moving to Eagleville in 1969.
Mary lived a life defined by devotion to family, friendships, and a deep appreciation for life's simple joys. She was the heart of her family — a loving mother, grandmother and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. Nothing made her smile more than their laughter, their stories, and the time spent together creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Mary also had a spirit of adventure and a love for travel. Whether exploring new places or returning to favorite destinations, she embraced every journey with curiosity and enthusiasm. The beach held a special place in her heart — she found peace in the sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and walks along the Jersey shore.
She delighted in gathering with friends for lunch, where conversations flowed easily and laughter filled the room.
She was the loving wife of the late James C. Loughin.
She is survived by her son, John (Grace) Loughin of Royersford; daughter, Mary Kay (Paul) Linahan of Collegeville; son, James (Pia) Loughin of Collegeville; and sister, Lois (the late David) Breeden of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jeff, Janine, John, Shannon, Kelly, Antonio and Genevieve.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love, grace, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.
Interment will be private at a later date.
