Mary O. Lobo, age 29, of West Chester, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on September 12, 1993, the daughter of Anthony L. Lobo and Teri A. (Snyder) Lobo. Mary grew up in Collegeville and Ambler, PA. She graduated Ursinus College in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Media and Communications Studies.

Mary would go on to work for Ursinus College, first as the switchboard operator and then as a writer and campus reporter. She later took a job at Unionville Chadds-Ford School District in the curriculum office, where she worked until her passing.

Mary was a lover of all things Harry Potter, and an avid fan of CBS's Big Brother and Survivor. She was also a talented artist in several different media, and above all, was regarded by friends and family as being exceedingly kind and empathetic.

She is survived by her husband, Brian J. Leipold of West Chester; parents, Anthony & Teri Lobo of Ambler; sister, Anna Lobo of Ambler; grandfather, Francis X. Lobo of Wilkes Barre; and her two kidneys, which will be used for transplants through the Gift of Life program. May their recipients go on to live long and happy lives with their loved ones.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to The Marfan Foundation, an organization dedicated to researching and treating Marfan Syndrome, which Mary was diagnosed with at a young age. Donations can be made at https://marfan.org/donate/.
