Magaly Gamboa Mallo, age 76, of Hellertown, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Laz Paz, Bolivia on December 14, 1946, the daughter of the late Manuel Gamboa Loza and Guillermia Botello Gamboa.

Magaly has been living in Hellertown for the past two years, formerly of Schwenksville and Norristown, PA. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Aloysius RC Church of Pottstown where she sang in the choir and a former parishioner of St. Patrick's RC Church of Norristown. Proir to her retirement, she worked as a Social Worker for Pennsylvania Public Assistance.

She enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing, planting flowers, loved plants, making delicious meals for her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed car rides with her daughter Vanessa to admire nature. She loved being involved with her church and choir. Her endless gift of selflessness will always be remembered. She had a gift of making friends easily and maintaining them.

She was the beloved wife of 46 years to the late Jorge E. Mallo, with whom she is now reunited.

She is survived by her son, Martin (Juliann) Mallo; daughter, Vanessa Putchat Mallo (Matthew Putchat); two sisters, Trudy Gamboa Botello and Maritza Gamboa de Rojas; and two grandsons, Gabriel and Cameron Mallo.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM from St. Aloysius RC Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Church.

Interment will take place at a later date in Schwenksville Cemetery, Schwenksville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to: St. Aloysius RC Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
