Louis D. Ruggieri, age 89, of Upper Providence, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023. He was born in Cupello, Italy on February 4, 1934, the son of the late Charles and Chiarina Ruggieri.

Louis was a longtime resident of Wayne, PA, where his passion for the food industry led him to own and operate the successful Main Line delicatessen, Lou & Scotty's.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956.

Louis enjoyed spending time with his family, and is survived by his son Charles (& Jennifer) Ruggieri; daughter, Amy (& Charles) Chell; three grandchildren, Cole (& Kelsey), Charles Logan, and Cali Anna; and great grandson, Brooks.

Along with his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brother, Nicholas Celenza and sister, Antoinette Perry.

Services will be private with interment in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
