Lois E. ( Gantert ) John, 85, of Eagleville, PA passed away Friday, March 15, 2024.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on October 29, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles and the late Anna (Hess) Gantert.Lois has been living in Eagleville for over 23 years, formerly of Roxborough section of Philadelphia, Pa.
She was a member of Visitation RC Church of Trpper, Pa where she was Past President of Visitation Seniors and a former member of Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church in Roxborough. She worked as the Librarian with Immaculate Heart of Mary School.
She was the wife of Late - William S. John, Jr.
Survivors include Daughter Denise (& Bill) Booth of Collegeville, Daughter Patti (& Thomas) Angstadt of Philadelphia, Sister Jeanne Armstrong of Lansdale, also survived by her Grandchildren Lauren (& Thomas) Cullin, Billy Booth, Ryan Booth, Jacob Angstadt and Cole Angstadt.
Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a Daughter, Maureen John, her late Brothers Charles Gantert, Gerard Gantert, Robert Gantert and Bernard Gantert, and her late Sisters Elizabeth Kirner, Claire Jonas, Kathleen Caruso and Paula Unger.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10:30 AM from Visitation B.V.M. RC Church, 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown, PA.
Friends may call on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the church.
Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
