Leon S. Swetkowski, Jr.

Leon S. "Mike" Swetkowski, Jr., 95, of East Norriton, PA passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

He was born in West Conshohocken, Pa on August 1, 1927, the son of the late Leon S. and the late Stella ( Polkowski ) Swetkowski.

Mike has lived in East Norriton for over 65 years, formerly of West Conshohocken, Pa.

He was a charter member of St. Titus RC Church and he grew up going to St. Mary's Church of Conshohocken, Pa.

He volunteered with East Norriton Little League and served on its Board of Directors.

He worked as a Union Carpenter with United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.

He served during World War II in the Navy, where he received the Victory Medal.

He was the husband of 62 years to the Late - Dorothy Mae ( Kriebel ) Swetkowski.

Survivors include, Son Mark (& Tammy) Swetkowski of Conshohocken, Son David (& Lorraine) Swetkowski of Plymouth Meeting, also survived by his grandchildren Julia, Emily, Scott, Nicholas, Ryan, Monika, Rachel and Danny, and great granddaughter Lydia.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother Edward Swetkowski and sisters Caroline Zummo, Irene Buswick, Theresa Swetkowski, Josephine Scharff and Regina "Jean" O'Connor.

His Graveside Service and Interment will be private.
