Lawrence E. Gunn, Sr. of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Larry's favorite pastime was being "down the shore" at his beach house and spending time with his 4 beautiful children and 11 precious grandchildren. Larry was a loving husband to his High School sweetheart, Rita Gunn (nee McMaster), for over 50 years! Larry was extremely proud of all 4 of his children and often the favorite of his grandchildren.

He worked as an auditor with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for most of his career and was pleased with the work they did for the environment.

Larry was the brother of Joseph Gunn (Pat), Eddie Gunn (Margie) and Jeanne Allerton (nee Gunn). Predeceased by Steve Gunn (Sue) and Eleanor Popelarski (Joe). He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Surviving are 4 children: Larry Gunn Jr (Lori), Jim Gunn (Lauren), Rita Lynn Maahs (Michael) & Jennifer Thomas (Andrew); and 11 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA. A second viewing will be held on Friday, October 6 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, 107 N. Ship Road, Exton, PA followed by a Christian Mass at 11:00am.

Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester, PA.
