Kenneth Smith, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on December 16, 1952, Ken was a lifelong Philadelphian, born and raised in the city he called home.

Ken married his beloved wife, Terri, on November 2, 1974, beginning a marriage that would span nearly five decades. Terri was his partner through all of life's chapters, and although there were many ups and downs, the love between them remained present throughout the years.

Ken was the proud father of the late Randall Smith, Amanda (John) Nolan, and Robin Smith. He was the grandfather of Logan Smith and Nicholas Nolan, and his grand-dog, Penny, who held a special place in his heart.

Ken spent much of his working life in home improvement sales, where his natural ability to talk with people and connect with them served him well. But his life was about more than work. Ken also spent many years involved in the recovery community, where he helped, encouraged, and supported others. He understood the importance of being there for people as they faced difficult struggles.

Ken was the son of the late Frances Cohen and late Sidney Smith and the brother of Ronald Smith. He was a loving uncle and a true friend to many. He had a special way of connecting with people, and his circle of family and friends extended far beyond those closest to him.

To those who loved him, Ken was so much more than the roles he held. He was a husband, a dad, a Pop-Pop, a brother, an uncle, and a friend. His absence will be deeply felt.

Although his family and friends will miss him more than words can say, Ken leaves behind a lifetime of memories and the love he shared with so many. His life lives on in his children and grandchildren, in his family and friends, and in the countless people whose lives he touched along the way-including his beloved grand-dog, Penny, who he adored and spent countless hours sitting on the couch watching Gunsmoke and westerns.

Ken will be loved, missed, and remembered always.

His Service will be on Friday October 2, 2026 at 10:30 AM

Family and Friends may greet the family prior the service from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be at a later date in Shalom Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 30386, Philadelphia, Pa 19103.
