Julia Armstrong Noble, 87, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on July 20, 1937, in Washington, D.C., Julie was the daughter of Maria and George Armstrong. She attended Rosemont College and later worked as Director of Religious Education at Epiphany of Our Lord for over 20 years.

Julie happily raised her six children in Blue Bell, PA. She was the "OG" maker before makers were cool. She was known for her hobbies and crafts, especially knitting and beading. Her beautiful sweaters, hats, and blankets have kept countless babies and friends warm. She loved playing bridge with her friends, listening to Neil Diamond, and enjoying her morning coffee and bagel. Known as "Pick 'em Gma" in the friends and family fantasy football league, she was an avid sports fan—especially of the Dallas Cowboys. She loved following the stock markets and was appreciated by her investment club for her stock recommendations. Later in life, Julie enjoyed traveling with her sisters and spending time in Watercolor, Newburyport, Big Sky, and LBI with her family.

She was the most present, loving "G-ma" to her grandkids and honorary grandma to many. Notable Julie catchphrases include: "Lord, love a duck!", "fare to midland," "I don't think my ears are on...," "how 'bout dem Cowboys," "what's up, Cocoa-Mo," "that's a real humdinger," and "dear Frances Cabrini, find a place for my machine-y."

Julie was a true Noble soul. Her most wonderful qualities were her generous spirit, sense of humor, and forgiving heart. Her faith guided her daily and inspired many. She lived a beautiful life of love, laughter, and family. If you knew Julie, you were her friend.

She is survived by her siblings, Michelle "Mikie" Flanigan and George Armstrong; her children, Leslie Kane (Kerry), Vic Noble (John Kolesa), Patti Noble (Steven Kempf), Kevin Noble (Kimbie), Korki Aldrich (John), and Scott Noble; her grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah), Lindsey (Ryan), Chris (Sam), Madison, Olivia, Dylan, Colton, Ashley (Natalie), Pixie, Jack, Evan, and Violet; and her great-grandsons, Conor, Cameron, Tyler, Colin, and Emmett. She was predeceased by her sisters, Maria Schreyer and Cathy Reznikoff. Julie is now reunited with her beloved grandson, Tanner Noble.

A visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 9, at Epiphany of Our Lord in Plymouth Meeting, PA, and a funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. The burial will be private.
