Obituary

Judith Morgan, age 80, of Cedar Heights, PA passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024.


She was born in Taylor, PA on November 21, 1943, the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Shimko) Purawic.


Judy has been a resident of the Cedar Heights section of Whitemarsh Township since 1976. She was a parishioner of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of Philadelphia. Judy worked in Data Collection for IMS of Plymouth Meeting, PA until her retirement. She was also an active member of the ladies auxiliary of Lincoln Fire Company.


Judy enjoyed sewing and was extremely creative. Through the years she made many Halloween costumes and wonderful creations for her family and friends. Judy loved to cook and host family gatherings. Her home holds special memories for everyone. Friends also enjoyed Judy's company. She spent time with friends at the gym, shopping and going out to lunch. Most of all, Judy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never missed a birthday party, sporting event, concert, parade, marching band competition, or graduation. Judy was proud of all their accomplishments.


Judy was the wife of the late William W. Morgan, Sr.


She is survived by two sons, William (Sharon) Morgan, Jr. of Conshohocken, PA and Mark (Megan) Morgan of Limerick, PA; sister, Kathy (the late Jack) Rooney of Taylor, PA; and two brothers, Frank (Shirley) Purawic of Chesapeake, VA and Michael (Terri) Purawic of Scranton, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, William III (Sarah), Ashley, Christopher, Joseph and Maxwell,two great granddaughters, Harper and Sophia and her nieces and nephews.


Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.


Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.


Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 6740 North 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19126.
