Joyce Lena (Giacomucci) Jewell, 79, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 27, 2026.

Joyce was born on May 7, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Carmen and Concetta Giacomucci. She grew up in Philadelphia and later made her home in Cape May Court House, NJ where she lived for 30 years.

Joyce enjoyed a successful career in real estate spanning approximately 35 years. A real estate broker and agent, she was the proud owner of Jewell Real Estate Agency in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Her dedication to her profession and community was recognized in 2010 when she was named Cape May County Realtor of the Year. She also served on the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and was involved with the Cape May County Association of Realtors.

While Joyce was proud of her professional accomplishments, her greatest joy was her family. She was a sweet, gracious, generous, and kind woman whose intelligence, warmth, and wonderful sense of humor endeared her to those around her. She treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed family gatherings.

Joyce was also known for her delicious homemade Italian meatballs, a family favorite that will remain part of many cherished memories. She loved reading romance novels, playing bingo with her lady friends, watching the Hallmark channel, cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, and spending time with the people she loved.

Her Catholic faith was an important part of her life and a source of strength and comfort to her.

Joyce is survived by her children, John (Barb) Monachelli; Carmen (Tonia) Monachelli; Jeanine Jewell-Sattler; Joseph (Laura) Graisbery; her stepchildren, Amber Barry and Mike Jewell; her grandchildren, Amanda Monachelli, Ty Monachelli, Dylan Graisbery, and PJ Sattler; and her beloved sister, Shirley Beal.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Eleanor Roman Catholic Church, 647 Locust St, Collegeville, Pennsylvania. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.

A luncheon will follow the Mass at Giovanni's 724, 1492 E Schuylkill Rd, Pottstown, from 12:45pm to 3:30pm.

Joyce will be remembered for her generosity, her humor, her devotion to family, and the kindness she extended to those fortunate enough to know her.
