Joseph A. Porrecca, age 48, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

He was born in Norristown, PA on August 1, 1977, the son of John T. Porrecca, Sr. and the late Anne  M. (Coscia) Porrecca.

Joe lived most of his life in Lafayette Hill and also had lived in Colorado.  He was a graduate of the University of Scranton where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.  He was an avid Flyers, Eagles and Phillies fan (in that order).  He loved being an Uncle to his nephew Jack.

He is survived by his father, John T. Porrecca, Sr. of Lafayette Hill; two brothers, John T. Porrecca, Jr.  (Genevieve) of Dresher and Brian Porrecca (Cordelia Bonny) of Philadelphia; and nephew, John T. "Jack" Porrecca, III.  He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Porrecca.

His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.  Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike PO Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428 or Montgomery County Association for the Blind, 25 E. Marshall St., 3rd Floor, Norristown, PA 19401.
