Joseph J. Nacarelli
Joseph J. Nacarelli, 70, of Sanatoga, PA passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. His loving family surrounded him. He was born in Norristown, Pa on December 30, 1955, the son of the late Salvatore R. and the late Marie (Tkaczuk) Nacarelli.
Joseph had been living in Sanatoga since 2001, formerly of Norristown, Pa.
He was a member of St. Teresa Calcutta RC Church of Schwenksville, Pa, and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Norristown, Pa.
He graduated from Norristown High School and worked at Ford Electronics until his retirement. He was a devoted husband to Elizabeth ( Fulmer ) Nacarelli, approaching their 50th wedding anniversary on July 3rd.
Joe was an avid sports fan, with favorite teams including the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Phillies. A lover of music, he enjoyed attending concerts with his family and friends. He could be found late at night watching classic television shows, including Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, The Lone Ranger, and The Twilight Zone.
Joe enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations where he could always be found having a fun time. He was the life of the party; to know him was to love him, and he will be dearly missed.
Joe was a loving father to Son Joseph D. (Holly) Nacarelli of Gilbertsville, Son Michael Nacarelli of Pottstown, and Daughter Nicole (Azaria) Numerato of Gilbertsville. He was adored by his grandchildren, Julianne, Hannah, Ariana, Joey, Stella, Mia, Isabella, and Santino, who knew him best as Pop-Pop and described him as wise, funny, generous, genuine, and caring.
He shared a close bond with his brothers, Gregory Nacarelli of East Norriton, Ronald Nacarelli of Norristown, and Anthony Nacarelli of Norristown. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Salvatore.
His Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta RC Church, 256 Swamp Pike , Schwenksville , PA .
Friends may call on Tuesday Morning, April 14, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.
Interment will take place in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Pottstown , PA.
