Joseph F. Koza, age 90, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 8, 1932, the son of the late John and Nellie (Dziewit) Koza.
Joe has been living in Conshohocken for 42 years, formerly of the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. He was an active parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church of Conshohocken, where he served as President of the Golden Age Club and enjoyed cooking for the parish festivals. He was a member of the St. Mary's Polish American Society and also organized casino trips for the Seniors. He loved Polka dancing with his wife Laura.
He honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Laura Koza (nee Wnek) of Conshohocken; daughter, Deborah (the late Richard) McManus of Conshohocken; son, Joseph F. (Peggy) Koza, II of King of Prussia; sister, Tillie Yarosinski (the late Joseph) of Blue Bell; sister-in-law, Elaine (the late Edward) Koza; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Renee, Christopher, Briana, Brittany, Joseph III, and Eric; and one great grandson, Finley; and his niece, Tracey (John & Jessica) Lewis.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew RC Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday evening, February 22 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA and on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.
Interment will take place in St. Benedict Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
