Joseph D. Hill

Joseph Daniel Hill, 93, of King of Prussia, PA passed away peacefully Friday, April 28, 2023.

He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on June 22, 1929, the son of the late William and the late Annie (Kelly) Hill.

Joseph has lived in King of Prussia since 1958, he grew up in Norristown, Pa

He served in the US Army during the Korean War, where he received the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.

Joseph was a member of Jeffersonville Golf Club Men's Association for over 35 years and loved the game of golf. He was a member and Past Commander of the V F W Post 7878 of King of Prussia, and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

He was the Owner and Operator of JD Hill Pest Control.

Joseph was also a third generation Band Leader, Singer and Performer for over 40 years.

He was the husband of Late - Elizabeth ( Taylor ) Hill.

Survivors include Son James (& Kathy) Hepner of Birdsboro, Pa, Son Daniel (& Donna) Hepner of Downingtown, Pa, Son William (& Joanne) Hill of King of Prussia, Pa, Son John (& Pamela) Hill of West Norriton, Pa. Also survived by his Grandchildren James Hepner, Michele Halter, Jennifer DiBona, Erin Hankins, Elizabeth Barringer, Laura Clark, Molly Candalaria, Abigail Hill, Daniel Hill, Brian Hill and Zachary Hill, and his 14 Great Grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by 8 siblings Carroll Hill, Marian Hill Troilo, James Hill, Anna Hill Rodenbaugh, Lawrence Hill, Baby Girl Hill, William Hill, Frederick Hill.

His Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM from St. Patrick RC Church, 714 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the church.

Interment will be private.
