John Eric Hartman, age 57, of Norristown, PA, passed away at home on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

He was born on May 7, 1966, the son of Elizabeth J. (Zummo) Hartman and the late Carl D. Hartman.

Eric has been living in Norristown for 15 years, formerly of Downingtown and West Chester, PA, where he was born and raised.

Eric added joy to many people's celebrations over a decade as a disc jockey, and he channeled creativity into his woodworking. He enjoyed hiking and camping in the outdoors and building and rebuilding his extensive Lego town.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Hartman of Norristown, PA; two sisters, Jeanne (Axel) VanBriesen of Pittsburgh, PA and Debbi (Jim) St. Louis of Ballwin, MO; three nephews, Jon (Jeanne) VanBriesen, Daniel St. Louis and Mat VanBriesen; and two nieces, Shannon (Jesse) Morgan and Grace St. Louis.

There will be a private viewing and funeral service followed by interment at a later date.
