Joan P. Brandon

Joan P. (Matta) Brandon, 78, of Collegeville, PA passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023.

She was born in Coaldale, Pa on November 24, 1944, the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Helen (Vahovich) Matta.

Joan has lived in Collegeville, Pa since 1964, formerly of Lansford, Pa where she grew up.

She was a member of St. Eleanor's Catholic Church of Collegeville, Pa.

Joan graduated from The Graduate Hospital School of Nursing of the University of Pennsylvania and worked as a nurse with Sacred Heart Hospital, then she worked as an Administrative Assistant with Ursinus College.

She was the wife for 60 years of Lawrence J. Brandon.

Survivors include Husband Lawrence Brandon of Collegeville, Pa, Daughter Michelle (& Jeffrey Kevin) Davis of Collegeville, Pa, Daughter Dr. Eileen Brandon of Collegeville, Pa, also survived by her Grandchildren Kathryn Davis and Ethan Davis.

Her Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.

Interment will be private at a later date.
