James C. Loughin, age 86, of Eagleville, PA passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on January 21, 1938, the son of the late Harry Loughin and the late Caroline "Dot" (Hendricks) Loughin.

Jim has been living in Eagleville since 1969. He had a long career as an Electrical Engineer. He enjoyed gardening as well as science fiction movies and books. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary K. Loughin (nee White) of Eagleville; son, John (Grace) Loughin of Royersford; daughter, Mary Kay (Paul) Linahan of Collegeville; son, James (Pia) Loughin of Collegeville; sister, Elizabeth Lien; and brother, William Loughin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jeff, Janine, John, Shannon, Kelly, Antonio and Genevieve.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Kathryn, Harry Jr., Mary and Robert.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.

Interment will be private at a later date.
