James J. Friel, Jr., "Jamie", age 55, of Royersford, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 1, 2023.

He was the loving husband of Kristine (Bringhurst) Friel, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.

Born on June 7, 1968, in Lansdale, Pa he was the son of James J. Friel and the late Susan (Hedge) Burba.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his 2 children Cameron Friel and his wife Emily and Carter Friel, 1 granddaughter Aliyah Friel, brother David Friel and his wife Rebecca, 3 nephews Alec, Kyle and Ryan, 1 niece Ciera, and 1 great nephew Rowan.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Friel.

He was a graduate of North Penn High School. He worked in production for Merck & Company for 27 years.

Jamie was a member of the Elks Lodge of Wildwood, NJ and he loved riding his Harley Davidson, cooking and spending time at the shore. Most of all Jamie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many and loved by all.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday evening, July 11 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be private and held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carter's College Fund at Merck Credit Union. Contributions may be made payable to Kristine Friel c/o 224 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426.
