Obituary

Hattie E. Rossi, age 96, of Schwenksville, Pennsylvania gained her wings and was received and embraced by the Lord's open and loving arms on Friday, October 30, 2026. Hattie was at home surrounded by her loving family.

Hattie was born in Louisiana on May 13, 1930, the daughter of the late Marvin Turnage, Sr. and the late Clara (Powell) Turnage.

Hattie had been living in Schwenksville since 1978, formerly of Skippack and King of Prussia.

Hattie's 96 years were well-lived. Hattie enjoyed gardening, baking, and cooking. She attended Fairview Village Church in Eagleville, PA. She also attended Jesus Focus. Above all else, Hattie's family was always her top priority. All who knew Hattie were blessed to have learned from and been loved by her. She was a loving, faithful, strong and giving woman who always had a place at her table for everyone, especially the friends of her children who always had lots of fun and good food at "The Rossis"! She was well known for her famous pizzelles which her and her husband made faithfully every year.

She was the wife of the late George Leo Rossi, Sr.

She is survived by three daughters, Diane (Charles) Steinberger of Collegeville, PA, Pamela (Michael) Rubeo of Schwenksville, PA, and Michele (Douglas) Rumberger of Schwenksville, PA; son, Ronald (Rachel) Rossi of Schwenksville, PA; brother, Marvin "Bud" Turnage, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Brenda, Dennis Jr., Stephanie, Melissa, Joshua, and Isabelle; eight great-grandchildren, Aaron, Samantha, Anthony, Gianna, Joseph, Leah, Makenzie, and Sophia; and four great-great grandchildren, Vanille, Auron, Tidus, and Hazel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George Leo Rossi, Jr., daughter, Rosalie (Dennis) Lacy, and five siblings.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories.
