Gloria S. Maziarz
Gloria S. (Borowik) Maziarz, 86, of Statesville, NC, formerly of Norristown, Pa, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on December 16, 1936, the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Frances (Gladkowski) Borowik.
She graduated from Little Flower High School, Philadelphia, Pa. She worked with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit for 30 years until her retirement.
Gloria married Francis "Frank" J. Maziarz (deceased) in 1957. She is survived by Survivors include Daughter Maria (& Jeffrey W.) Smith, Daughter Noel Maziarz, Son Jeffrey (& Linda Nave) Maziarz, Son Erec (& Patricia Giatris) Maziarz, Daughter Holly (& Michael) DiCarlo, Son Jeremy (& Mary Ann Fiorentino) Maziarz. She is also survived by her 17 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a grandson and her sister Marie (Borowik) Rejniak.
She was a dedicated member of St. Titus RC Church of East Norriton, Pa until her recent move to Statesville, NC. She had a very deep faith and relationship with God, and enjoyed her time of service as a Eucharist Minister at Saint Titus for many years. She loved making hand-made quilts for her family. Gloria was an excellent cook, and took pride in passing down traditional Polish recipes for generations to come. She was happy to watch the butterflies and hummingbirds that flocked to the garden flowers. She was kind, loving and gentle to everyone whose life she touched.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM from St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA.
Friends may call on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA.
Entombment will be private in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to Carolina Care, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
