Dr. Glenn A. Pitman, age 77, of North Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

He was born in Norristown, PA on April 27, 1946, the son of the late George A. and Edith (Moseley) Pitman.

Glenn was a College Professor and Dean at several universities. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Penn State sports fan, especially football.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Bolden Pitman; daughter, Kiera Pitman (Al Padilla); two sons, Geoffrey (Kimberly) Pitman and Gregory Pitman (Shane Stryzinski); sister, Lynne Pitman; two step sons, Nick Bolden (Caroline) and Aharon Bolden; and six grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith E. Pitman.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
