George R. Romano, III
George R. Romano, III George R. Romano, III, 50, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025.
He was born in Norristown, Pa on September 21, 1974, the son of George R. and Elizabeth A. "Leanne" (Morris) Romano, Jr..
He is also survived by his beloved sister, Deborah Hammond (Joseph), his nephew and niece, Joseph G. Hammond and Elizabeth Timinski (Austin), and many cousins and Aunts and Uncles.
George was a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Naples, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia and Blue Bell, Pennsylvania where he grew up.
He attended Epiphany of Our Lord Grade School, LaSalle College High School and Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences.
Throughout his life, George worked in retail up and down the East Coast and made many friends in every state he resided in.
George was a kind-hearted person, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
A lifelong dog lover, George had a special bond with greyhounds and rescued many dogs over the years, giving them a safe and loving home.
He had a deep passion for new wave music and fashion, always expressing himself with style and a sense of fun.
George was lighthearted, funny, and full of life—he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
His Celebration of Life will be Tuesday September 9th, 2025 at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pennsylvania 19401.
Relatives and Friends may greet the family from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
The Memorial Service will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery at 2400 Dekalb Street, Norristown, Pennsylvania, 19401.
