Francis A. "Butch" Rodenbaugh, Jr., age 85, of Bridgeport, PA peacefully went home to the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Einstein Hospital, East Norriton.

Born in Norristown, PA on February 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Francis, Sr. and the late Margaret (Cabot) Rodenbaugh. He grew up in the Conshohocken and Bridgeport areas. Butch worked as a Millwright for the former Alan Wood Steel Company, Swedeland, PA and then worked as the Superintendent of Grounds for St. Augustine's Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA until he retired in 2008. Butch was a well-read man and enjoyed flowers and gardening; watching sports and Sci-Fi shows, like Star Trek and Dr. Who; playing card games; going to Shady Maple Smorgasbord; vacationing in Florida at Disney and eating desserts, especially his favorite, cream filled donuts! He also enjoyed coaching his children in their youth for the Conshohocken Golden Bears Football and Bridgeport Little League Baseball organizations. Above all else, Butch enjoyed spending time with his beloved full of life family and friends.

He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 65 years, Barbara (Sohoski) Rodenbaugh; son, Timothy Rodenbaugh; daughter, Dawn (Daniel) Armenti; son, James (Elizabeth) Rodenbaugh; daughter, Kimberly Laffredo; daughter-in-law, Donna Rodenbaugh; brother, Ronald (Debbie) Rodenbaugh; sister, Carol Barry and brother-in-law, Bernie (Joanne) Sohoski. He is also the proud, loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his son, Francis Rodenbaugh III; sister, Beverly Rodenbaugh; brothers-in-law, Chet Sohoski and Russell Barry.

His Memorial Service will be held on October 9, 2026 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Family and friends may call to the funeral home from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the service.

Interment will immediately follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to The American Cancer Society.
