Florence M. Evans

Florence M. (Coccia ) Evans, 98, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026.

She was born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1927 the daughter of the late Pietro and the late Enrica (Schiavoni) Coccia.

Florence has been living in Lafayette Hill since 2015, formerly of Exton, Pa.

She was the wife of the late Vernon Evans.

Survivors include: Daughter Jean (John Westerfer) Farlino of Whitemarsh, Daughter Patricia (James) Wynne of Philadelphia, also survived by her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Along with her husband, parents and siblings she was also preceded in death by by her son Joseph Baldino, her daughter Elaine Cellini, her grandson John Baldino, and her granddaughter Laura Baldino.

Anyone who knows her will tell you that she is spirited, an organizer, a hard worker, a wonderful artist, and a sweet, kind woman. She always filled our home with music as she was a lover of classical, opera, and musical theater.

She was a legal secretary which in today's world would be a paralegal. In retirement she took on a second career helping to manage Vernon's insurance office. Florence was spiritual, an avid reader, traveler, and volunteer.

Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA on Friday Morning at 9:00 AM.
