Eugene J. Lennox, Sr., 86, of Conshohocken, PA died on December 11, 2023.

Gene was born in Philadelphia in 1937 to Henry and Catherine Lennox and grew up in the Swampoodle section of North Philadelphia.

Gene is survived by the love of his life, Dot, who he married in 1966 and shared 57 years of marriage.

Gene is also survived by his children, Gene Jr. (Kathy), Doug (Nancy), and Tara (Mike) Keenan.

Gene treasured spending time with his grandkids, Kevin, Colleen, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Connor, Riley and Molly. He loved attending his grandkids' ballgames and spending time with them down the Maryland and Jersey shores.

Gene was blessed to have many close friends too numerous to mention here. Whenever "Gino" and "The Crowd" got together you could count on a lot of laughter and great times.

Gene was a great athlete and played professional baseball at the AA level for the Cincinnati Reds. He also "competed" against the Harlem Globetrotters in the 1960s.

Gene was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday morning from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
