Enoc F. Zapien, Jr.

Enoc F. "Poppy" Zapien, Jr., 87, of Pottstown, PA passed away Monday, May 4, 2026.

He was born in Conshohocken, Pa on December 30, 1938, the son of the late Enoc F. and the late Emma (Funkner) Zapien.

Enoc had been living in Lower Pottsgrove for the last 7 years, formerly of West Norriton, Bridgeport and he grew up in Conshohocken.

He served in the Army, where  he received the Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Medals.

Enoc was a member of Washington Fire Company.

He worked as a Trimmerman with Simpson Paper Mill.

He was the husband of Late - Nancy Jo ( Rice ) Zapien.

Survivors include, Son Brian (Sue) Zapien of South Elgin, Ill, Daughter Tina (Ed) Phillips of Lower Pottsgrove, Pa, also survived by his Grandchildren Hannah, Michael and Elizabeth Jo and his favorite Dog Molly.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his brother George Zapien, Sr. and sister Mary Raber.

His Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 8, 2026 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
