Emma L. (Cooper) Bland, 95, of Norristown, PA passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026. She was born in Jericho, Arkansas on October 17, 1930, the daughter of the late Elijah and the late Lizzie (Mims) Cooper Sr.

  Emma has been living in Norristown, Pa for the last 20 years, formerly of Conshohocken and she was born and raised in Arkansas until 1953 when she moved to Conshohocken, Pa. She was a very active member of St. Paul's Baptist Church where she was a member of the Usher Board, member of Women's Auxiliary, Missionary, Community Group Club Socialite and helped with Vacation Bible School. 

She enjoyed going to the senior citizens center, playing bingo, working on puzzles, knitting, and crocheting blankets. She also enjoyed cooking meals for the holidays and sharing with her neighbors at Sandy Hill Apartments especially those who didn't have family. She truly loved helping the less fortunate.

 Emma was also a member of of the Lake-Wilson-Herbert Families Reunion Club and the Harrell-Mims-Jordan Families Reunion Club.

 She worked as a Trimmer with Collegeville Flag Company.

 She was the wife of Late - Richard Bland.

 Survivors include, Son Richard Bland of Norristown, Step Daughter Izetta Greene, Grandson Richard Evans, Also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews Including her God Daughter Peggy (Julian) Shahbas, cousins and friends.

 Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a Grand Daughter Sereena Bland and her Siblings Elijah, Mamie, Minnie, Lissie, Virginia, Flora and Leslie.

 Her Funeral will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

 Interment will take place in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
