Elisa Martinez, 91, of Norristown, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

The celebration of her amazing life will begin with a viewing on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. There will be another viewing on Tuesday Morning, October 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Her Funeral Service will be on Tuesday Morning October 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM, from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401.

Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Norristown.

Elisa was born on January 9, 1935, in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Isabel Santiago and Maria Rivera. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luis E. "Quique" Maldonado; brothers Tony, Jose, Luis and Gilberto; and one sister, Amelie. Elisa is survived by three sisters and one brother Carmen "Mela", Adela, Gloria and Adolfo; and her nine children: daughter Bessy and husband Ricky; daughter Daisy; son Noel; daughter Marta and her husband Jesus; daughter Yolanda; son Roberto and his wife Miriam; son Cesar and his wife Camila; son Rafael; and daughter Idalia "Dolly" and her husband Daniel. She will also be missed by her 30 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Elisa was a loving mom and wonderful homemaker. Elisa enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone! A plate was always considered half-empty, and she was quick to add more. She enjoyed music, playing dominoes, gardening, watching the birds, and, most importantly, spending time with her family and numerous friends.

Thank you, Mom, for the amazing memories, unconditional love, and your contagious laughter that will be missed. Mom, you don't have to worry about us, we will continue to call each other and spend holidays together. Love you Mommy.
