Elaine M. "Peg" Balkiewicz

Elaine M. "Peg" (Smull) Balkiewicz, 91, of West Conshohocken, PA passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

She was born in Upper Merion Twp., Pa on March 21, 1933, the daughter of the late Lester and the late Cora Mae (Schmehl) Smull.

Elaine has lived in West Conshohocken for the last 15 years, formerly of Conshohocken.

Her and her late husband helped start the Conshohocken Golden Bears Youth Football team.

She was instrumental in the creation of the Colonial Neighborhood Council and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

She was a Homemaker and also was a School Bus Driver with Colonial School District.

She was the wife of the late William Balkiewicz.

She is survived by sons, Richard Jones of Delaware, Walter Balkiewicz of Mohrsville, PA, Wayne Balkiewicz of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Dennis Balkiewicz of Limerick, PA, and daughters Mary Ann Daly of Collegeville, PA, Elaine Williamson of West Conshohocken, PA, Fran Colicino of Limerick, PA, Rebecca Balkiewicz of Eagleville, PA and her brother Wayne Smull of Bartow, Fl. She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her beloved son, William Balkiewicz Jr. and her siblings Ronald, Bobby, Homer, Pearl, Eileen, Arlene, Grace, Betty, Dorothy, Anita and Ruthanne.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
