Eilene T. Althouse

Eilene (Timmings) Althouse, 86, of Trappe, PA passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on May 18, 1936, the daughter of the late Richard and the late Georgianna (Kricher) Timmings.

Eilene was born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. She has lived in Trappe for 63 years.

She graduated from West Chester University where she met her husband Richard.

She was a Homemaker and a Kindergarten teacher for Spring Ford and Perkiomen Valley.

Eilene and her family enjoyed camping with their Dreamers Camping Group.

She was an avid traveler who visited all fifty states and visited over forty countries on 6 continents and islands.

She was the wife of Richard P. Althouse for over 65 years.

Survivors include Husband Richard Althouse of Trappe, Son Jeffrey (& Denise) Althouse of Trappe, Daughter Deborah (& Patrick) Dougherty of East Norriton, Sister Georgianna Karpovich of Doylestown, also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer, Dana, Skylar, Erin and Jillian, and great grandchildren Andre, Grace, Mezzaluna and Fermin.

Her graveside service and interment will be on Saturday December 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Augustus Lutheran Church Cemetery, 717 West Main Street, Trappe, Pa 19426.
