Edward J. Shaffer, age 87, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

He was born in Buffalo, New York on July 27, 1937, the son of the late John Henry Shaffer and the late Dorothy (Moore) Shaffer.

Ed has been a resident of Blue Bell for ten years, formerly of Narberth, PA. He received a Bachelor's Degree from West Chester University and a Master's Degree from Temple University. He then went on to earn his Ph.D. from Florida State University. He retired after a long career as a Professor at Community College of Philadelphia. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was the husband of the late Judith E. (Barr) Shaffer.

He is survived by his son, Michael (& Julie) Shaffer of Blue Bell, PA and two grandchildren, Matthew and Jenna.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.
