Dr. Philip David Alburger, 81, loving husband, father, and grandfather, died peacefully on July 29 at his home in Gladwyne, PA, where he lived for over 45 years.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 4, 1942, to the late Verna (Brown) and late George Alburger.

Dr. Alburger served as an Orthopedic Surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children, Temple University Hospital, and as Chief of Orthopedics at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

His memory remains in the hearts of many, including his beloved wife of 45 years, Therese ( DeSimone ) Alburger, his Daughter Carolyn (& Blair) Warsham of Woodacre, Ca, his Daughter Catherine (& David) Christopher of Gladwyne, Pa, his Sister Verna Lawrence, Brother George Alburger and Sister Constance Alburger. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren James Warsham and Louise, Philip, Peter, and Madeleine Christopher.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Road, Gladwyne, PA.

Friends may call on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.
