Dorothy A. Waskiewicz, age 86, of Lansdale, PA passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 6, 1938, the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Geneveive (Tomaszewski) Baniewicz.

Dorothy lived in Philadelphia and Norristown before moving to St. Mary Manor in Lansdale in 2012. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Norristown. She was a devout Catholic and volunteered for Catholic Social Services Food Cupboard in East Norriton.

She is survived by her son, Mark (and his wife Anne) Waskiewicz; sister, Stella Quedenfeld; grandson, Alexander Waskiewicz; and granddaughter, Cassandra Waskiewicz.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Jonathan, Eustace, Simon, Andrew, Vincent and Anthony Baniewicz.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at St. Mary Manor, 701 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Chapel.

Interment will be private in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to: Catholic Social Services, 353 E. Johnson Hwy., Norristown, PA 19401.
