Donna M. Janda, 63, of Collegeville, PA passed away on  Tuesday, January 10, 2023. at Phoenixville Hospital.

Mrs. Janda was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 12, 1959, the daughter of the late Ruth (Giblin) and Robert Pomerleau.

She served honorably in the United States Army from 1978 to 1979.  Donna was a nuclear physicist with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  She was deeply involved in the cleanup after 9/11.  Donna rescued many dogs over the years and gave them a loving home. Donna also had a passion for travel. She explored many parts of the world by land and sea.

Donna is survived by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Janda of Collegeville, her daughter Angela (& Julius) DeVera of Collegeville, step-daughter Judith (& Christopher) Tibbetts of Myrtle Beach, SC and step-son Gerald (& Lisa) Janda, Jr. of Warminster.  Also surviving are her brother James (& Ashley) Ensinger of Las Vegas, and sister Catherine (& James) Whitney of Hudson, New Hampshire and her grandchildren Colin, Talia, Vincent, Markus, Thomas, Hayden, Ethan, Isabella, Mackenzie and several  nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Janda's  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA.

Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM .

Interment will take place in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or to the Montgomery County SPCA,19 E Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
