Dominick Vincent DePaul
Born on September 27, 1948 in Philadelphia, Dominick was the son of Sophie V. and Dominick L. DePaul. The DePaul family moved to Plymouth Meeting in 1955 with Dominick's older brother, Louis Anthony and sister, Stephanie Ann.
Dominick attended Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School until he enlisted in the US Marine Corp in June 1966. A proud Marine, he admirably served his country in Viet Nam, stationed in various locations including DaNang, Chou Lai and Okinawa. He was honorably discharged in 1969 and returned home with several medals, such as Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Rifle Marksman Badge.
Returning to Plymouth Meeting in 1969 after serving his country, Dominick worked at various jobs as a member of the Teamsters Union. He was also a custodian at Colonial School District until his retirement in 2010.
He was involved in many local softball leagues and starred as a pitcher and also team manager over several decades.
Dominick was an animal lover and provided a good, safe home to many cats over the years. He also maintained contact with many Vietnam veterans and was a lifelong supporter of all branches of the military, but especially the U S Marine Corps.
Dominick is survived by his sister, Stephanie, and 7 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Louis DePaul and his niece, Lisa Ann DePaul.
Dominick was very proud to be a Marine and will be missed by his family and his friends.
His Funeral Service will be on Monday October 5, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401
There will be a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 for family and friends to gather before the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, Pa.
