Dennis L. Snyder




Dennis L. Snyder, 78, of Conshohocken, PA passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025.


He was born in Norristown, Pa on February 20, 1946, the son of the late Harold and the late Florence (Dewey) Snyder.


Dennis has lived in the Conshohocken area most of his life, growing up in Cedar Heights and moving to Conshohocken when he got married.


He served in the US Army during the Vietman War, where he received Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.




He worked with National Label Co. for over 40 years.




He was a Life member of Lincoln Fire Co. now Spring Mill Fire Company.




Dennis was an avid Philadelphia and Plymouth - Whitemarsh High School sports fan. He rarely missed a P-W Basketball or Football game in the last 50 years. In honor of his father he awarded the Harold Snyder Award every year.




He was the husband of Bonnie L. ( Rodenbaugh ) Snyder for 59 years.




Survivors include Wife Bonnie Snyder of Conshohocken, Pa, Daughter Melissa (Jim) Dunn of Normal, Il, Daughter Dana Snyder of Conshohocken, Pa, Grandsons Tyler and Cody, Also survived by Brother Donald Dewey of Collegeville, Pa, Sister Sharon Bradford of Cedar Heights, Pa, Sister Debbie Wayne of Norristown, Pa, and many loving nephews, nieces, family and friends.




Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a Brother Harold Snyder, and sisters Frances Nealman, Jean Sugalski, Nancy Buckley and Janice Ayres.




His Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.




Friends may call on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.




Interment will take place in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA at a later date.
